LB1 Feature Description
Lightweight Polyurethane (PU) and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) materials provide a flexible and lightweight boot while maintaining strength. F-Tread boots are up to 0.9kg lighter than typical moulded PVC boots.
100% Waterproof The injection-moulded 'all-in-one' construction ensures a 100% waterproof seal, resistant to water penetration and absorption. Ideal for wet weather conditions.
All-Weather Insulating Small air pockets trapped in the Polyurethane materials enhance the insulating properties of this boot, remaining cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter (rated down to -25°C).
Non-Slip Outsole High density Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) sole inserts (yellow areas) provide enhanced slip resistance to SRC standard (highest rating). This ensures excellent traction on wet or smooth concrete surfaces, like yards and dairy parlours.
Oil & Petrol Resistant Outsole Synthetic Polyurethane (PU) outsole with better resistance to fuels, oils and solvents than natural rubber outsoles, while still maintaining flexibility and grip.
Moulded Heel Spur A kick-off heel spur is moulded into the boot to improve the ease of boot removal.
Shock Absorbing Heel A shock-absorbing foam insert is moulded into the heel of all F-Tread boots. This technology offers additional energy absorption properties of up to 20J (Joules), which provides improved comfort over prolonged use.

Penetration Resistant Steel Base Midsole protection providing penetration resistance up to 1100N (Newtons) of force. Resists thorns, nails & barbed wire to EN ISO 20345.S5 standards.
Protective Steel Toe Cap The tempered steel toe cap bonded into the Polyurethane upper, can withstand impacts and compression to EN ISO 20345 standards. Rated up to a minimum of 200J (Joules), this is the equivalent of 1500kgs compression or an impact of 20kg falling from a height of 1 metre.
